1429. An unusual name yet it has its roots in twin brothers who spent their time enjoying being creative! The street address where our family grew up in West Texas includes these numbers - so this unusual name reminds us of that special dream we had of one day owning our own marketing, advertising and creative services company. It reminds us that no matter how long you have held onto that dream, it's never too late to launch it! We're here to help you do just that!

14:29. As people of faith, we find incredible strength and vision in the person of Jesus. In one story told of him in the Book of Matthew, he is seen in what amounts to a simple coaching exercise. As he stands at a distance from a group of others in a boat far away, Jesus calls to them...to step out of the boat and do something extraordinary (walk on water!) Some in the boat remained. But one man stepped out and took the risk - focusing not on the unstable, uncertain dangers of the deep water. Rather, he focused his eyes on his coach, the one who challenged him to have faith and take a risk.

At 1429, this story resonates with us because we stepped out in faith when we started our company. For years, we had ideas, dreams, and even some plans - but the waters seemed so frightening. We find strength in faith and know that the best coach looks at you in your situation and teaches you the skills and gives you the tools you need to succeed. Then, as marketing coaches, we can help you do even more. We believe God launched 1429 for a purpose. And that purpose is to help others do GREATER THINGS!

THE 1429 TEAM

Our team has degrees in marketing and ministry that equip us to address your comprehensive marketing and communication strategy.

Our team has nearly 20 combined years of corporate and small business experience focused on building personal relationships. We see clients not as accounts, but as people! We have worked for such companies as GTE (now Verizon), Sprint Nextel, Freedom Tire & Wheel, and Bonneau Sunglasses.

We also share a love of ministry and spiritual development in both domestic and international experiences. Randy spent nearly 10 years as a missionary in French-speaking regions such as Quebec and West Africa, learning 2 languages so he could be involved in coaching people in spiritual development!

Donny, who spent 15 years in the people management arena at Sprint Nextel, has a passion for working with children who have been abused and neglected through the Our Father's Children ministry. We enjoy opportunities to bless children both here in America and around the world . . . children who need to hear "HOPE" spoken to them. That's part of what we mean by GREATER THINGS!

FAMILY: We are married to great women of faith, with whom we share the joy and challenges of raising our great kids . . . altogether, there are 7 kids who manage to keep us busy with school, church activities, sporting events and just having fun around our homes. We feel blessed that God has entrusted us as parents and husbands. So while 1429 is a great passion of ours, it ranks behind our relationship to the Lord and to our wonderful families. That's also what we mean by GREATER THINGS!
